Meet the Flora Dental Lab Team
Every case that comes through Flora is fabricated by GDC-registered dental technicians working to DAMAS-certified process standards, not passed to whoever happens to be free that day.
Why that matters
When you send a case to a lab, you are trusting people you have never met with a patient’s fit and shade. GDC registration means the technician handling your work is on the General Dental Council’s register and accountable to it. DAMAS certification means the lab itself follows an audited quality management process for how cases are logged, tracked, checked and dispatched, not an informal system that varies by who is on shift. We think dentists are entitled to know who is behind the case, which is why this page exists and why we are building it out further.
Jagdeep Singh, Founder
Jagdeep founded Flora Dental Lab after years of struggling to find labs that consistently delivered the fit, shade and communication dentists expect. He writes the guides on this site to help practices send better cases and avoid remakes.
- Founder, Flora Dental Lab
- GDC 216535
- Qualified 2012
- 15+ years in dental technology
- Trained in the King’s College orthodontic lab
Jagdeep still reviews cases directly and is the person dentists reach when a case needs a second pair of eyes before it ships. If you have a case that does not fit the usual pattern, orthodontics, retainers, or a restoration with an unusual clinical situation, he is who you will end up speaking to.
The technicians behind every case
Flora’s technicians are GDC-registered and work under DAMAS-certified quality processes across the full range of cases the lab produces: crown and bridge, veneers, dentures, implant restorations, digital design and orthodontic appliance manufacture, which makes up the majority of what Flora fabricates. Cases move through scanning or model work, design, fabrication and a quality check before dispatch, with the technician’s registration sitting behind every stage.
Full individual profiles, one page per technician with their registration number and specialism, are coming soon as we continue to build this page out. We are not going to publish names and photos before that work is done properly.
Talk to us directly
If you want to know who is handling a specific case type before you send it, or you want to check a technician’s GDC number, contact us: we are happy to talk you through who works on what, and to talk through our DAMAS 230697 certification and MHRA registration for custom-made devices. Read more about the lab on our About Us page, or see how these credentials fit into choosing a lab in our guide to choosing a UK dental lab.
